Complete tasks to earn seeds. Each completed task gives you 2 seeds, with +1 bonus if you finish during your scheduled time window, and another +1 during Focus Mode. Completing a focus session awards +3 seeds. Daily challenges give +5 to +25 seeds. Unlocking achievements gives +5 seeds each.

Complete at least one task every day to maintain your streak. If you miss a day, your streak resets. If you have a Resilience Token, BloomDay will offer to restore it. Tokens are earned at streak milestones: 7, 14, 30, and 100 days.

Each day a challenge appears at the top of your task list. It might ask you to complete 2 tasks, complete 5 tasks, water a plant, or complete all tasks for the day. When the condition is met, the card turns green and you receive bonus seeds instantly.

Yes. When adding a task, choose Daily or Weekly. Daily tasks appear every day automatically. Weekly tasks appear on the same weekday you created them. Each instance tracks completion independently. Swipe left on a recurring task and tap Stop to convert it back to a one-time task.

Deleted tasks cannot be recovered. Use the postpone feature instead of deleting tasks you might want to return to later. Swipe left on a task and tap Later to push it to a future date.

Plants grow exclusively through watering. Tasks earn seeds to buy plants, but only water makes them grow. Each species has its own growth rate. Water daily and stay consistent to reach full bloom. When a plant fully blooms, you earn +20 seeds and +1 Resilience Token.

Your plant shows its mood based on watering consistency. Thriving (watered today), Happy (1 day missed), Thirsty (2 days), Wilting (3 days), Critical (4+ days). Moods are visual cues to help you stay on track.

Over 100 hand-illustrated botanical species across three environments: Interior (houseplants), Garden (flowers and trees), and Allotment (vegetables and herbs). Free users have access to starter species. Premium plans unlock cultivars, rare specimens, dwarf fruit trees, and exotic varieties.

Yes. BloomDay reads your local weather once per day. Rain automatically waters your outdoor and allotment plants for free. Spring (March through May) doubles all seed earnings from tasks. Weather effects are mechanical, not just decorative.

Focus Mode is a full-screen timed session. Choose 25, 45, 60, or 90 minutes. A breathing plant animation and optional ambient sound keep you grounded. Completing a session awards +3 seeds. If you try to end early, BloomDay asks for confirmation.

Time Capsules let you write a letter to your future self and seal it to a plant. The letter stays locked until the plant reaches 100% growth. When it blooms, the capsule opens automatically with a special reveal animation. Free users can create up to 3 capsules; premium users get unlimited.

BloomDay tracks over 35 achievements across tasks, streaks, garden, watering, economy, and special categories. When you hit a milestone, a celebration alert appears with a +5 seed reward. Achievements are detected automatically in real-time. View your full progress in Settings.

Resilience Tokens are the rarest currency in BloomDay. They cannot be purchased with money. You earn them through milestones: 7-day streak, 14-day streak, 30-day streak, 100-day streak, 100 lifetime tasks, and the first time a plant reaches full bloom. Use them to restore a broken streak or revive a critical plant.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the App Store. Go to Settings, tap your Apple Account, then Subscriptions, find BloomDay, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.

All your data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your garden, tasks, streaks, and progress are permanently lost and cannot be recovered. Your account email remains in our authentication system unless you delete your account first via Settings.

Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap Delete Account and confirm. This removes your email from our authentication system and erases all local data. This action is irreversible.

No. All garden, task, and progress data is stored locally on your device. It does not sync across devices or to the cloud. If you switch phones, your data will not transfer. We recommend exporting your data (Settings, Export Data) before switching devices.

BloomDay is fully localized in English, Turkish, and Spanish. This includes all interface text, plant names, botanical trivia, achievements, and notifications. You can switch languages anytime from Settings.
